Grevillea poorinda
Grevillea poorinda is a graceful and delicate evergreen shrub, native to Australia.
With the right climate, it is grown in the ground in a sunny position.
The leaves are alternate, small or large depending on the species, generally giving the plant a feathery appearance.
The graceful flowers that appear in summer have a tubular calyx with no petals, appearing collected in dense racemes.
These inflorescences can be of different colours: red, pink, yellow or crimson.
It reaches up to 180cm in height and 150cm in width.
It can be used as a splash of colour in the garden.
It requires a soil poor in phosphorus and the minimum recommended temperature is -3/-5°C.
